Growing up, we always had a medicine cabinet at our house. It was full of expired prescription bottles, Nyquil, cough drops, pain meds and more. But somehow as we had kids, we kept everything separately. I decided it was time that we adopted the medicine cabinet from my youth with an organizing flare!
We had one section for children’s meds and band-aids located in our laundry room.

And the “adult” meds were stored in our master bathroom closet.

I wanted something clean and see through that I’d (or the kids) would be able to pull out and see what was there. I found these refrigerator/freezer storage bins on Amazon for $27
Our cabinet is not very deep, so I got the 10in depth. The dimensions measure 10 x 6 x 3 high. They worked perfectly in this space.
I also added a lazy susan to catch some of the miscellaneous items.

Finished product!

I’m really happy with the finished product, everything is all in one centrally located place, labeled and organized. When we have company, I can point everyone in the same direction and don’t have to go into our master bathroom to find Tylenol or cough drops.

Organized and labeled by “Bandaids”, “Children’s Medicine”, “Sore Throat / Cold”, and “Ear, Eye, Itch”. Ear Eye itch contained eye drops, swimmers ear serum, baby powder, benadryl, ect.

Another little project I worked on for this cabinet is organizing birthday candles. You can find that here – Birthday Candle Storage
